Under supervision he is just about to pour the boiled water into the cup when mum returns…
“Your not allowed to touch that, its too dangerous!” followed by “Honey, dont let him do that, hes only 6!”
Glancing over to my little dude, he has a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face that says… “Oooooh yes, dangerous”
Mummy has just unwittingly motivated my little apprentice coffee maker to perfect his craft.
So true, same principle applies to direct reports when looking to learn a new skill
