Old School Principles with New School Media

Did you know that less than 1% of advisor firms are attracting over 80% of the new money being invested?

It’s funny really because the other 99% aren’t any worse at giving advice, they just don’t have a reliable system for generating new quality client enquiries.

Sometimes the better ones I speak to use “old school” techniques but here is a question for you…..

How can anyone win a 2014 race using a racing car from the 80’s or the 90’s?

Personally I love “old school” business development techniques, anything that’s old and still around is always good…. or it wouldn’t still be around.

The funny thing is that very little has changed apart from the media but this new media is so very different it does change the game for the few that master it.

I will share one of the major differences which makes this media a game changer in the next blog.

  1. Well Steve although I drive a relatively modern car I feel I could use a little more of the new monies being invested to get ahead in the race!
