It was a simple question to the Sales Director….
“If we have the big 5 accountants on our books then why aren’t we doing business with them?”
It seems so illogical, why would we have the opportunity to do business with the big boys and then not go out and play?
Simon replied “Too many partners. If a partner buys something they have to share the profits out between everyone but, if it goes wrong then it’s their neck on the block, this makes them bad buyers”.
The same is true for many would be IFA buyers.
What unintended consequences are there creeping out of your business stopping you growing?
Surely you can only work with them if you have something they want?
