The Rejection: It’s Not Yours

Missed a new client sale today….

They needed the help, turns out they didn’t share the feeling.

Whilst shuddering inside with the rejection and re-playing what should have been said and done differently, some sage advice sprang to mind from the past…

Its not you that they are rejecting, its the advice.

The same goes for you, when your client doesn’t show up, doesn’t sign the papers or treats you in a poor fashion; its not you that’s being rejected its merely the advice.

Only a robot can take the rejection that a pro-active financial professional gets when its taken personally, but when you make a distinction between your service and yourself, you become immune.
